A Letter from Vienna
A Persian-German pop song about love left behind in Iran, sung with heart and longing from Vienna2025-09-29
Hello, my name is Vazista. I am a young woman from Iran, but now I live in Vienna. I came here for my studies and for music, but my heart is still far away. In Iran I had my first love, but life was stronger than us. Now I am here, and he is there. Sometimes I feel my voice is the only bridge between us.
This song I want to create is like a letter. I write it with music, half in Persian, half in German. I want to tell him how Vienna looks to me, how life treats me here. Sometimes it is beautiful, sometimes it is very lonely. I want to tell him also that I wish for him a love that is more than I could give. Even if it breaks me a little, I want him to have something better. In Persian we say: “del bekhahad, vali dast nist.” The heart wants, but the hand cannot hold.
My voice is alto, deep and warm, and I want this song to be like a Persian pop classic but with new colors. I dream to mix the feeling of home with the sound of Vienna. Ein bisschen Sehnsucht, ein bisschen Hoffnung. With this project I want to show how love can live even when two people cannot be together.
For this, I need help. I need to rent a good studio and also pay for professional mixing and mastering. I can write, I can sing, but I cannot do everything alone. I want this song to be strong, clean, and beautiful, so it can reach the hearts of people. Your support will make this dream real. With your help I can give voice to my story, and maybe to many stories like mine.
